NIMS AI-Con 2025 Inaugurated at the Newly Built Marik Institute of Computing, AI, Robotics & Cybernetics of Nims University

NIMS University inaugurated the much-anticipated NIMS AI-Con 2025, a prestigious three-day international conference focused on advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Cybernetics. The event marks a major milestone in India’s AI and digital innovation journey, uniting more than 40 global experts, researchers, and industry leaders under one roof.

The conference was held inside the newly constructed Marik Institute of Computing, AI, Robotics & Cybernetics, an advanced research and learning facility at NIMS University. Born out of a vision shared between NIMS University and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics (CIIRC), Czech Technical University, Prague, the institute was conceptualized following an MoU signed in Prague just two years ago. Today, it stands as a world-class hub for cutting-edge research in AI, robotics, and cybernetics.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the distinguished presence of:

  • H.E. Eliska Zigova, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India
  • Prof. Vladimír Mařík, Scientific Director, CIIRC, Czech Technical University, Prague
  • Dr. Samrat S. Kumar, Country Coordinator, EURAXESS India
  • Alongside 40+ global scientists, researchers, and academicians from across the world.

A Global Platform for AI Dialogue

Participants from countries including Japan, the USA, and the Czech Republic gathered for high-impact sessions, collaborative research opportunities, and panel discussions. The conference spotlighted themes such as:

  • Human-Inspired Robotics – Bridging the gap between man and machine
  • Spectacular Successes of Deep Learning – Reviewing AI breakthroughs and the road ahead
  • Responsible AI for Healthcare – Addressing ethical, impactful tech in medicine
  • Europe Avenue as a Smart City Testbed – Showcasing Prague’s AI-led urban innovation
  • Trustworthy AI – Building reliable and transparent AI ecosystems
