It was an honor to deliver the inaugural and keynote address at the 2022 QS India Summit in Goa, where Nims University was the Knowledge Partner.
I emphasized the the crucial role of world-class universities in facilitating a knowledge economy, drawing inspiration from India’s rich legacy of ancient institutions such as Takshashila, Nalanda, and Valabhi. I also stressed the importance of promoting high-quality education and establishing a platform for world-class universities in the new higher education paradigm.
The event’s theme was “Achieving India’s Global Vision: Overcoming Institutional Challenges,” and we were honored to have the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant, in attendance. He shed light on the exciting opportunities brought by the G20 summit, including a new student exchange program that will revolutionize the educational sector.
